The story

Yuto Kawasugi (Megumi Morisaki) is an eccentric woman. By day, she works as a
cashier in the foreign-language section of a bookstore. By night, she's a high-priced call
girl whose business partner is a young pimp named Michio Jigen (Jun Kawamoto).
Yuto leads a double life in another way as well: She is Hideko Katsuki, wife of prominent
writer and Japan Culture Award winner Dai Katsuki (Ryushi Mizukami). She is both
Hideko, the writer's wife, and Yuto, the whore.
In the demimonde, Yuto goes by the name Charon. At different times Yuto uses all three
names: her real name, her name as the wife of Dai Katsuki, and her nom de guerre in the
flesh trade. Yet even Michio does not know that Yuto uses the name Charon. Nor that she
is the wife of a well-known writer.
One day Michio is called upon by his underworld connections to take care of a major job
in Thailand. Michio knows that his life hangs in the balance. Gambling that the trip will
be a success, Michio begins preparations to leave.
Katsuki, of course, is unaware of the huge sums of money his wife Hideko is earning in
her alter ego as Charon. With a wife who is never short of money despite having no job,
Katsuki lives a stress-free life as a writer.
Unfortunately, Katsuki is unable to support Yuto in her accustomed style, and their
sexual relations become strained. Katsuki begins looking for gratification on the side.
Meanwhile, in Thailand, Michio begins to realize that his gang is playing him for a pawn.
Even if he succeeds, his organization will continue to send him on dangerous assignments
until he is killed. Yet quitting the mob is not an option. With his life in danger, Michio
turns to Yuto, his call girl, for help.
Even as Yuto's relationship with Michio is changing, Katsuki hears from one of his circle
of friends of an escort with a reputation for satisfaction guaranteed? a girl named Yuto.
Katsuki calls this Yuto to his hotel.
And opens the door to see his wife standing in front of him.
Desperately confused, Katsuki hears Yuto telling him that she only stayed with him for
the money, as Charon, the prostitute.
Katsuki is utterly at a loss for words.
The next day, Yuto disappeared, out of sight of both Michio and Katsuki. The two men
begin searching for her, each unbeknownst to the other. Neither Yuto nor Katsuki nor
Michio has any idea what the road ahead holds in store for them...
