Jun was born in 1970 in Chiba Prefecture. After joining the Super Eccentric Theater in 1994, he gained his starring film debut in Naki no Ryu in 1995. Since then Jun has appeared in numerous films and TV dramas. In 2002 Jun began to broaden his participation in film with stints as a writer and producer. One of the rising stars of Hong Kong and Chinese film, Jun has been selected for the lead role in My wife and the gun, a Chinese film to begin production in 2004. The extensive roster of works in which Jun has acted include Kenka no Gokui, directed by Gen Takahashi; Isola Tajujinkaku Shojo, directed by Toshiyuki Mizutani; and Oinaru Kan, directed by Banmei Takahashi. In 2002 Jun was selected by the magazine Video Insider, a bellwether for trends in Japan's film and video industry, as one of the "57 key actors and actresses supporting Japanese film."




Ryushi Mizukami was born in 1964 in Toyama Prefecture. For six years Ryushi was an active participant in Jokyo Gekijo, an avant-garde theater group led by Kara Juro. He later acted in a large number of films and TV dramas. Ryushi's impressive roster of screenplays includes TV dramas such as Leilain, directed by Takashi Miike, and Night Hospital. He also enjoys enormous popularity as a stage producer. Among Ryushi's best-known works in this field are Shinjuku-zame, directed by Yojiro Takita; Swallow Tale, directed by Shunji Iwai); Tocharev and KT, directed by Junji Sakamoto; Yo o Kakete, directed by Kim Su-Zin; and Kinyu Fushoku Retto Jubaku, directed by Masato Harada. Ryushi has also appeared in the Hollywood epic The Thin Red Line, directed by Terrence Malick.



Born in Tokyo, January 8th. Megumi has appeared in an impressive array of films and TV dramas. Her films include Human Scramble, directed by Banmei Takahashi; 893(Yakuza)Taxi, directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa; Trust Me, Moko, directed by Rokuro Mochizuki; and Only Desire Kill Love, directed by Sogo Ishii and Shun Nakahara. In TV dramas, Megumi has worked in NHK's Comedy Oedodegozaru, a period drama; Abarenbo Shogun, a period drama produced by TOEI+ANB; The Story Of Osamu Tezuka, by TOHO+CX, Radio Midnight Pop Library, a book-reading program on NHK-FM radio, and many other projects. Megumi also contributed a voice-over for the Japanese-language version of Finding Nemo. She has also performed in a range of theatrical productions, such as the musical Nurse Station, performed at Ginza Hakuhinkan Theater; Pericles, a student production at Parthenon Tama Hall; and The Hissatsu, a period play produced by Shochiku and performed at Minamiza Theater. Though Megumi met Gen Takahashi at an audition for another of his film projects, Gen realized that he had found his lead actress for Charon and selected her for the role of Yuto.
